Methodology

SRC Open sources only: news wires, government releases, flight/maritime trackers, official social channels, public research.
EST The DEFCON figure is an estimate inferred from observable posture (deployments, alerts, rhetoric, exercises). The real level is classified and frequently differs by command.
SI SI Readiness is a machine-scored composite (0–5) weighing signal volume, severity, corroboration, and rate of change against a rolling baseline.
REV Assessments are revised as signals are corroborated or retracted. Confidence tags on each card reflect sourcing quality, not certainty of outcome.
